NA - an alternative to surgery

BEFORE

My left hand with 60 degrees contracture of little finger and some contracture of the ring finger also.

In the upper picture the Dupuytren's cord is quite visible.

Often when the cord is released in one finger, it will loosen the contracture in neighboring fingers as well.

AFTER

My left hand 24 hours after NA.

In the palm photo, the dots you see are from a purple marking pen that was used to mark where to insert the needle to break up the Dupuytren's tissue for best results. The skin swelling along that cord is where nodes had formed and those will shrink after a few days.

Notice how all my fingers are able to lie flat. The ring finger was not treated but loosened after the little finger was done.
